...this was actually blowing up on more than one result from find(1).

My brain is starting to fuzz out.  It's creeping up on 1am.  I can
already tell dragging out of bed in the morning is going to be pure hell.

I wonder if it's going to be snowing.  I hope not.  I want to ride my
bike to work.

It will probably be snowing.  Or raining.  Or there will be a plague of
frogs or something.

Also adds a few dependencies to Makefile, comments out some formatting
in render.pl, sets up a demonstration of converting a program from
specific -> general, perhaps lays groundwork for a discussion of the
utility of diff(1) in software terms, which seems like a good transition
back to extant literary tooling.
