|
|
|
|
once there was a squid.
|
|
a giant squid.
|
|
a squishy squid.
|
|
a giant squishy squiddy squid.
|
|
|
|
you might even say
|
|
it was a squamous squid,
|
|
that squid of yore.
|
|
|
|
yes, you'll shudder in your shoes
|
|
but this is the truth:
|
|
he was squamous
|
|
and squalid and squishy
|
|
and squashy, and most often
|
|
squiggly and squiffy,
|
|
the squid that lived over yonder
|
|
in those days of yore.
|
|
|
|
he was not like the other squid,
|
|
the squid of which (or whom?) we speak
|
|
though of squalidity and sqamosity
|
|
he had a mighty store
|
|
for even in his squiffiness, his
|
|
squiggly derring-do...
|
|
