<[Brennen]> Caps Lock will fuck you up. So will hitting "q:" instead of ":q". There's no way to get back to a directory easily once you've opened a file in the only window. Your ESC key is going to wear out. Modal editing is a more powerful abstraction except when it's not. It's too easy to get stuck in bad idioms. (O followed by ESC followed by p, anyone?)
