  1. IdeaLogging. It is a better idea to represent text in documents on the web as actual text. Not image files, not Flash, not weird Java applets. HTML or PlainText, not PDF, Word, etc.
  2. 

  3. * Text is more searchable.
  4. * Text is small and demands little of a given computer.
  5. * Text can be munged. Machine translation, changes in font size, easy copying, etc.
