  3. <[[Brennen]]> Today I saw "propagation forbidden, patents apply" or something like that stickered to various potted plants. My dad works for a seed company, so the notion of patented genetics is hardly new, but the fundamental absurdity of a patented organism somehow seems more pronounced when you're looking at a daisy.

  5. 'course, if I think patented organisms are absurd, it's probably not much of a logical stretch to "all patents are absurd".
