  1. WareLogging. One of the current crop of decent browsers. Slimmed down from Mozilla, but includes tabs, a search bar, a better keyboard interface (including find-as-you-type), RSS support, and a slick extension architecture.
  2. * Firefox lets you define quick searches, which are just aliases to a URL so that you can type something like "google whatever" and wind up at google.com/search?q=whatever. I defined a set of "searches" to open or edit a page on this wiki, so I can just hit ctrl-L for the location bar and be at any page in a few seconds. The command line rolls on.
  3. * Right clicking on selected text gives you an option to "View Selection Source". It seems intelligent enough to display the entire containing element of whatever you've selected.

  9. <[[BrentNewhall]]> Firefox often freezes when I use it on a Windows XP computer at work; this seems to be related to the overloaded proxy server at work. Still, it's a bug. It's a testament to Firefox that this is my biggest problem with it. It's a sad statement about modern software that this sort of bug is considered minor.
