- <[[Molly]]> how odd that you would link to a Chomsky on anarchism thing. I just had the greatest conversation today at work with a customer about Chomsky and anarchism, surprising myself at how much I actually knew (still not a lot). Well, it's like they say, it's a Chomsky sort of day.
-
- <[[Molly]]> yeah, they don't actually say that.
-
-
- <[[Brennen]]> Well, somebody might. Somewhere.
-
- I wasn't really aware of Chomsky except (vaguely) as a linguist until pretty recently. There's this hardcore leftist non-profit bookstore in Boulder, called LeftHandBooks, that's got a bunch of stuff I'd like to read. Saw a book called "Chomsky on Anarchism" or something like that there the other day, which got me thinking I ought to read some of his stuff. And it seems like all the right people hate him for him to be interesting.
-
- <[[Molly]]> how is it a bookstore if it is non-profit?
-
- <[[Brennen]]> Run by a non-profit collective, I think. Volunteer staffed.
-
- <[[Brennen]]> Here, they have a site: http://www.lefthandbooks.org/
-
- <[[Molly]]> sweet. also, props to your Withnail links...just watched it again the other night. It's even better stoned.
-
-
- <[[Molly]]> why are there two of those? sorry. I'm going to stop writing now. for real.
-
-
- <[[Brennen]]> I think there are (were) two of them because of some bug in the software which someday maybe I will fix. And of ''Withnail & I'', I am totally willing to believe that it's even better stoned.
