  11. Bester - Psi Cop (P12)
  12. Biggs, Malcolm - Ivanova's former lover; member of the Homeguard;
  13. arrested for militant, anti-alien crimes
  14. Centauri Republic - one of the five major governments in the B5
  15. universe (so far)
  16. Children of the Egg - people of a small planet who hatch from an egg; they
  17. are a deeply religious people who feel that their "souls" will escape if
  18. their body cavity is punctured
  19. Connally, Neeoma - a labor leader on B5
  20. Cotto, Vir - Londo's assistant
  21. Cutter - member of the president's security force; tried to destroy
  22. a fighter wing of B5 but was stopped by Garibaldi
  23. Deathwalker - an epithet for Jha'Dur (see Jha'Dur)
  24. Delenn (Satai) - the Minbari ambassador
  25. Dilgar - a race that went to war against the non-aligned worlds (and Earth)
  26. 30 yeras ago; known for their brutality
  27. Dilgar War - the war that ensued after the Dilgar invaded the non-aligned
  28. worlds 30 years ago; Earth came to the defense of the non-aligned worlds
  29. and helped to repel the Dilgar
  30. Drazi - one of the non-aligned worlds
  31. Dukhat - the late leader of the Grey Council
  32. Du'Rog - an old enemy of G'Kar; sent Tu'Pari to kill G'Kar, but
  33. Tu'Pari failed
  34. Earth Alliance - one of the five major governments in the B5 unive-
  35. rse (so far)
  36. Earthdome - the seat of the Earth Alliance government, located in
  37. "what used to be Geneva"
  38. Earthforce - the Earth Alliance's military organization
  39. Earth-Minbari War - war between the Earth and the Minbari that occurred
  40. ten years ago; the Minbari, on the verge of victory, surrendered for no
  41. *apparent* reason
  42. Fire Wings - one of the Minbari warrior clans
  43. Franklin, Steven - B5 medical chief of staff
  44. Garibaldi, Michael - B5 security officer
  45. G'Kar (Third Circle) - the Narn ambassador
  46. Grey Council - the religious ruling body of the Minbari
  47. Hendricks, Vance (Dr.) - Dr. Franklin's old teacher; tried to get
  48. rich by selling dangerous artifacts--when he brought them aboard B5
  49. to have Franklin check them, they became "alive" and threatened the
  50. station
  51. Homeguard - a militant, pro-Earth (anti-alien) organization
  52. Ironheart, Jason - Talia's old lover; evolved into a different
  53. life-form after being given drugs that induced telekenesis;
  54. apparently gave Talia the "gift" of telekenesis
  55. Ivanova, Andrei - Susan Ivanova's father
  56. Ivanova, Susan - second-in-command of B5
  57. Jha'Dur - a brutal Dilgar war criminal who was killed by the Vorlons
  58. after she developed an immortality serum
  59. Jumpgate - the primary means of interstellar travel in B5
  60. Kalika, Ambassador - a leading ambassador of the non-aligned worlds on B5
  61. Kelsey - dead Psi Cop (P12)
  62. Kemmer, Frank - a friend of Garibaldi seventeen years ago; Frank was
  63. killed and his death was blamed on Garibaldi's negligence
  64. Kemmer, Lianna - Frank's daughter, who is now on the presidential
  65. security staff; when she came to B5, she finally forgave Garibaldi
  66. for her father's death (but not before driving Garibaldi to the bottle
  67. by prosecuting him for a crime he didn't commit)
  68. Knight One - member of a group which wanted to show a connection
  69. between Earth officials and Minbari during the Earth-Minbari war;
  70. killed by Sinclair in self-defense
  71. Knight Two - member of a group which wanted to show a connection
  72. between Earth officials and Minbari during the Earth-Minbari war;
  73. tried to find out what happened to Sinclair at the Battle of the
  74. Line, but had his [Knight One's] brain "fried" in the process
  75. Ko D'ath - G'Kar's former assistant
  76. League of Non-Aligned Worlds - a group of the "minor" alien governments
  77. ("Non-Aligned" because they have not sided with any of the five major
  78. governments)
  79. Lennier (of the Third Fane of Chu'Domo) - Delenn's assistant
  80. Maray, Kiron - Vir's cousin; Aria Tensus's lover
  81. Mars Colony - an Earth colony on the planet Mars; birthplace of Sinclair
  82. Mayan, Shaal - famous Minbari poet; friend of Delenn
  83. Minbari Federation - one of the five major governments in the B5
  84. universe (so far)
  85. Mollari, Carn - Londo's nephew
  86. Mollari, Londo - Centauri ambassador
  87. Moon Shields - one of the Minbari warrior clans
  88. Naranek, Kosh - the Vorlon ambassador
  89. Narn Regime - one of the five major governments in the B5 universe

  91. Na'Toth - G'Kar's assistant
  92. Night Walkers - one of the Minbari warrior clans
  93. Nine, the - another term for the Grey Council (referring to its
  94. nine members)

  96. Pak'ma'ra - one of the non-aligned worlds
  97. Quantium 40 - a valuable material necessary for jumpgate construc-
  98. tion
  99. Raiders - space pirates who prey on merchant vessels
  100. Ragesh 3 Colony (spelled "Ragesh" in subtitle in "Midnight on the
  101. Firing Line," but spelled "Raghesh" in the Universe Today newspaper
  102. in "And the Sky Full of Stars") - A Centauri colony attacked by the
  103. Narns; the attack was eventually withdrawn
  104. Rush Act - an Senate act that calls for the arrest of workers who
  105. illegally strike
  106. Sakai, Catherine - a planetary surveyor; Sinclair's girlfriend
  107. Santiago, Luis - president of Earth
  108. Satai - honorific applied to members of the Grey Council
  109. Sigma 957 - a planet near which "strange things happen," according
  110. to G'Kar
  111. Sinclair, Jeffrey - B5 Commander
  112. Shon - a "Child of the Egg" whose parents killed him after he underwent
  113. a surgery procedure that punctured his body cavity
  114. Soul Hunter - immortal race of beings who steal people's "souls" at
  115. the moment of death
  116. Star Riders - the oldest of the Minbari warrior clans
  117. Tensus, Aria - Kiron Maray's lover
  118. Thenta Makur - Narn assassins' guild
  119. Trakis - Adira Tyree's former master
  120. Tu'Pari - member of the Thenta Makur; sent by Du'Rog to kill G'Kar,
  121. but failed in his mission
  122. Tyree, Adira - a Centauri ex-slave with whom Londo once fell in
  123. love
  124. Vicar - pun on "VCR"; a part-cybernetic, part-organic lifeform which
  125. lend their services as recording instruments; vicars can record many things,
  126. including telepathic activity (to some degree)
  127. Vorlon Empire - one of the five major governments in the B5
  128. universe (so far)
  129. Wind Swords - the most militant of the Minbari warrior clans (according to
  130. Lennier)
  131. Winters, Talia - B5 station telepath (P5)
  132. Xon - native race of Centauri Prime which was eventually killed off
  133. by the Centauri
  134. Zento, Orin - a somewhat rude negotiator who convinced the Senate to
  135. invoke the Rush Act against B5 laborers
  136. Zocalo - the social center of B5
